Important disposal instructions for batteries
Every end user is obliged to return used batteries according to the battery law.
As a distributor of batteries, we are legally obliged to take them back. Used and used batteries supplied by us can be returned to the following address:
Londoner Str. 11
48455 Bad Bentheim
Old batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbols on the batteries have the following meanings:
Pb (lead) = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
Cd (Cadium) = battery contains more than 0.002% by mass of cadmium
Hg (mercury) = battery contains more than 0.0005% by mass of mercury
Used batteries may contain harmful substances or heavy metals that can be harmful to the environment and human health. The Stiftung Gemeinsames Rücknahmesystem Batterien (Foundation GRS) organizes the collection and recycling of batteries. Used and used portable batteries can be disposed of free of charge in the containers provided by the GRS Foundation. Industrial batteries can be disposed of at municipal collection points (eg recycling or material farms).
